MOFWORX aims to commercialize CSIRO’s MOF-based technologies. The first demonstrator, based on AirthenaTM technology, is capable of capturing CO2 directly from the air and offering a more flexible supply for the CO2 market.
MOFs (Metal-Organic Frameworks) are advanced structures that are extremely ordered, porous and customisable. They grow in a crystal form and are extremely versatile for many applications including gas storage, gas separation and water treatment. CSIRO has developed a portfolio of MOF-based technologies including composition, application and manufacturing.
